SONG DA 9 JOIN STOCK COMPANY

On 17 September 2026, Song Da 9 Joint Stock Company, in cooperation with the Institute of Enterprise Training and Consulting under Foreign Trade University, launched a training programme on updated procurement and investment laws at the Company’s headquarters.

Representing Song Da 9 were Mr Nguyen Hai Son, General Director; Mr Le Sy Tien, Deputy General Director in charge of investment; Mr Quach Manh Hai, Deputy General Director in charge of procurement; together with managers and professional staff from the Company’s departments and subsidiaries.

Representatives of the training provider included Dr Nguyen Thi Khanh Trinh, Deputy Director of the Institute, along with its experts, lecturers and programme coordinators.

The programme was delivered in a hybrid format. More than 60 participants attended at the head office and five online locations across the Company’s construction sites, branches and subsidiaries.

In his opening remarks, General Director Nguyen Hai Son emphasised that procurement and investment directly affect the Company’s business performance, capital management, project development and competitiveness. A clear and consistent understanding of current regulations is therefore essential for managers and relevant professional staff.

He encouraged participants to raise practical issues encountered in their work and focus on key matters such as scope of application, decision-making authority, contractor and investor selection procedures, and the responsibilities of each department. Following the programme, relevant departments and units are expected to review and propose updates to the Company’s internal regulations, procedures and templates.

The four-day programme comprised eight sessions held from 17 to 21 September 2026. Key topics included recent changes in procurement and investment laws, contractor selection methods, e-procurement, preparation and approval of contractor selection plans, contract management, and procedures for the appraisal, approval and adjustment of investment projects.

The programme also included a review of Song Da 9’s internal Procurement Regulations and Investment Regulations. Experts and participants identified provisions requiring revision and discussed a new framework with clearer authority, responsibilities and controls.

A dedicated session was also provided to help relevant staff prepare for the professional procurement certification examination.

Through this programme, Song Da 9 aims to strengthen professional capability, ensure consistent application of legal requirements and reduce legal and operational risks in procurement, investment and purchasing activities. The programme also supports the Company’s ongoing efforts to improve its internal governance framework and enhance business and investment performance.
