As part of a series of activities to support lecturers and students of Faculty of Law, University of Commerce (TMU), in accessing practical activities and integrating theory with practice in research and training in the field of law, a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the University of Commerce and Song Da 9 Joint Stock Company was held on November 7, 2023.
The ceremony took place at the Conference Room, 9th Floor, Song Da 9 Joint Stock Company's headquarters, and was a significant event. The purpose of the MoU was to promote collaboration between the University of Commerce and Song Da 9 Joint Stock Company in the field of training for law majors and specializations at the University of Commerce. It also aimed to provide legal knowledge training and development services for the company's employees.

Currently, there are ample job opportunities for law graduates, but this also poses a challenge for universities that offer law programs, including the Faculty of Law at TMU, in terms of training human resources with a strong legal foundation and essential skills to address the increasingly complex and ever-changing legal issues in the field of business and commerce.
During the signing ceremony, Mr. Tran The Quang, representing Song Da 9 JSC, and Associate Professor Ha Van Su, representing the University of Commerce, delivered passionate speeches expressing their confidence that the cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Law and Song Da 9 JSC would open up profound and comprehensive cooperation opportunities for the university and businesses. They believed that the collaboration would result in significant progress in leveraging and utilizing resources in terms of infrastructure and human capital, enhancing the quality of education aligned with societal needs, promoting scientific research activities, and increasing employment opportunities through career counseling sessions, practical experiences in enterprises, research-oriented competitions for students related to business regulations, and more.

In the presence of all attending guests, the memorandum of cooperation between the two parties was officially signed. Once again, congratulations on the cooperation of the University of Commerce, Faculty of Law and Song Da 9 Joint Stock Company! We hope that this cooperative development will become increasingly stronger and open up many meaningful activities in training and scientific research, bringing many career opportunities for Law students in the future.

The two sides have agreed on the content of cooperation in the following activities:
(1) In scientific research activities: Organize conferences, seminars, and discussions to share practical experiences and legal personnel needs of businesses; innovate teaching methods and programs to be suitable and closely aligned with practical requirements and legal issues of mutual concern to the Parties.
(2) In training and development activities: Song Da 9 and TMU coordinate and jointly develop training programs to foster legal knowledge, professional skills, and strategic legal thinking for for officers and employees of the Company, based on Song Da 9's specific requirements. 
(3) In career orientation and organizing visits and internships for students:
+ Both parties will annually organize career orientation activities for TMU's Faculty of Law students to provide them with insights into professional fields and necessary preparations during their university studies.
+ Create opportunities for TMU's law students and learners to intern and gain practical experience at the subsidiaries of Sông Đà 9. Based on the annual practical needs, the company will accept students and learners from TMU's Faculty of Law to meet the company's working requirements at its facilities.
(4) In sponsoring and encouraging scientific research activities for lecturers and students: Song Da 9 JSC will consider and decide to sponsor a number of awards named after Song Da 9 for training activities, scientific research by students and lecturers of the TMU's Faculty of Law students and lecturers, based on the agreed content between TMU and Sông Đà 9 at different times.
(5) In cultural, artistic, and sports activities: Annually, both parties will participate in cultural exchange activities, arts, and sports events when invited.
