Determining that the implementation of the 5S program is the basic foundation of productivity and quality, while helping to improve the sense of self-discipline, responsibility, collective spirit, and teamwork of employees; The Board of Directors of Song Da 9 JSC has drastically directed the development of training plans and established a 5S Steering Committee with the functions of supporting, encouraging, monitoring, reminding, evaluating and improving implementation of 5S. They have assigned coordinators to facilitate the implementation.
On December 6, 2023, the 5S Steering Committee of Song Da 9 JSC organized the opening ceremony of the 5S practical training program at 5 hydroelectric plants of the Company, including PaKe and Nam Khanh (Lao Cai), Nam Mu, Nam Ngan, Nam An (Ha Giang) Hydropower plant. The training course on the 5S improvement tool will take place from December 6, 2023, to December 12, 2023, with the participation of nearly 200 employees divided into three groups: the 5S Steering Committee group, the 5S assessors group, and the 5S practitioners group.
Giving a directive speech at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran The Quang - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company emphasized  the Steering Committee to focus on guidance and propaganda to raise awareness of workforce, towards the goal main of helping officials, employees and workers develop professional and effective working habits. Additionally, through the 5S model, unnecessary materials, equipment, and tools will be filtered out and removed, and scientific principles of organization will be established for office and plant areas, ensuring the daily work in the production and business activities of the hydropower plants is conducted in a systematic and organized manner. Regular inspections and evaluations of the 5S aspects in various departments will be carried out.
